The Co-op’s wine departments represent one of Bellingham’s finest selections of wine from around the world including an array of dessert wines and champagnes
You can find many Northwest wines—from Mt. Baker Vineyards to Lopez Island Winery, from Washington’s wine country, Oregon’s wineries, and from the world-renown California wine regions—as well as wines from every region of the world. You’ll also find a continuously evolving selection of international wines from Australia and New Zealand, Germany, France, Spain, and South America.
At the Downtown store, Wine Manager Vic Hubbard hosts a weekly Friday afternoon tasting, and Wine Manager Tim Johnson hosts similar tastings at the Cordata store. The Co-op Beer department has one of the largest specialty beer selections in the county including imports, local, organic, gluten-free, and hard ciders—all at very competitive prices.
Our Downtown store Beer Manager Michael Smith studied brewing at UC Berkeley and is a great resource for your beer questions. Michael is always looking for new and exciting beers, some you won’t find anywhere else in the county.
