Produce
It’s our mission to source the highest quality, fresh Organic produce year round. We believe that produce should look beautiful, taste good, and be good for you.
Both of the Co-op’s produce departments carry about 90 percent certified organic produce and are certified as organic handlers by the Washington State Department of Agriculture organic program.
Local and organic produce are core Co-op values. We are committed to sourcing our produce directly from small family farms whenever we can. These farms range in size from 1 to 100 acres; this is where the good food comes from.
Our long-standing relationships with small organic family farms in Eastern Washington bring us a vibrant selection of cherries, peaches, apricots, nectarines, apples, pluots, and plums each year. Buying direct from small growers allows us to get high quality, tree-ripened, flavor-packed fruit. These relationships are the future of small family farming; the Co-op is committed to supporting their hard work and survival. Look for Farmer Direct on our signs July through September.
Visit us year round for knowledgeable staff and the highest quality produce around.
