Give Back to our Community
Part of the mission of the Co-op is to serve our community. We do this through education, event sponsorships, various types of donations, grants, and loans.
Sponsorships & Donations
Submit information about your local event for sponsorship consideration. Contact Kevin Murphy or 360-734-8158 ext. 313.
Small donation requests range from $20-$50. Complete our Donation Request Form for a donation or gift card good for purchase of Co-op food/goods for community meetings, fundraising events, or other functions. Contact Kevin Murphy, or 360-734-8158 ext. 313.
MAC Grant Requests
The Member Affairs Committee awards four $400 grants to nonprofit organizations every year. Contact Jean Rogers or 360-734-8158 ext. 311.
Community Shopping Days
Every year the Co-op Board of Directors selects 12 community organizations to receive a Community Shopping Day. Selected organizations receive 2% of one day’s sales, all register donations made during the month through the Donate the Difference program, and have the opportunity to educate shoppers about their programs in the Co-op newsletter and with in-store displays.
The 2017 Community Shopping Day application period has closed
Good luck to all the applicants. The 2017 Community Shopping Day recipients will be announced in December. Applications for 2018 will be accepted August 1 through September 1. Questions? Contact Kris Buettner at 360-734-8158, ext. 309, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
