Give Back to our Community
Part of the mission of the Co-op is to serve our community. We do this through education, event sponsorships, various types of donations, grants, and loans.
Requests for Donations and Sponsorships
The Co-op is proud to support local organizations through education, event sponsorships, and various types of donations, grants, and loans. Please review the Support Request Form to choose the level of support that is appropriate for your request, then submit the completed request form.
Donation (generally $10–$100 range) • Sponsorship (generally more than $100) • MAC Grant ($400, see criteria in request form)
Community Shopping Days
Every year the Co-op Board of Directors selects 12 community organizations to receive a Community Shopping Day. Selected organizations receive 2% of one day’s sales, all register donations made during the month through the Donate the Difference program, and have the opportunity to educate shoppers about their programs in the Co-op newsletter and with in-store displays.
The 2017 Community Shopping Day application period has closed
Good luck to all the applicants. The 2017 Community Shopping Day recipients will be announced in December. Applications for 2018 will be accepted August 1 through September 1. Questions? Contact Kris Buettner at 360-734-8158, ext. 309, or email@example.com.
