Events

The Co-op hosts a variety of free events including parties, in-store demos, barbeques, live music, and owner appreciation days. Everyone is welcome to participate. We also support our local community by co-sponsoring events in the community. Check the Co-op calendar for upcoming activities.

Food preservation specialist Susy Hymas of Daylight Harvest Foods demonstrates how to make crisp and tasty pickles from fresh veggies.  Learn everything you need to know to make both quick and fermented pickles.  Students will go home with a jar of sauerkraut to ferment at home.

Third Thursday Local Music Series: Zoo Patrol

Zoo Patrol plays an infectious amalgam of instrumental blues, jazz, funk, soul, New Orleans and other styles, incorporating a menagerie of space, interplay and improvisation. Adrian Clarke (guitars), Steve Jones (bass) and Joel Litwin (drums) combine their varied influences and eclectic experience to create a slow-cooked, systemically-moving, delicious potion of sound.
