Welcome to the Community Food Co-op, Bellingham’s natural cooperative grocer. What began in 1970 in Fairhaven as a single 900-square-foot store with fewer than 10 items has grown to a two-store 12,000-member-strong natural grocer. We encourage you to participate by shopping, joining, and building and supporting a sustainable, vibrant community. You’ll find organic produce, meat and seafood, wine, an exciting deli, an espresso bar, great housewares and fun stuff, bulk items, natural and organic grocery items, baked goods, dairy, and supplements and wellness products. Our second store in the Cordata neighborhood of Bellingham was opened with great fanfare and excitement mid-January 2009. Fully staffed, stocked, and ready to serve, this new store is a great addition to the neighborhood. Co-op members and neighbors on the north end of Whatcom County and BC can now enjoy an abundance of fresh, natural, and locally produced healthy food. Stop by to see what all the excitement is about. Co-op Downtown store |

Shoppers at our downtown Forest St. store are enjoying the latest improvements and remodel projects in this store. With new equipment, improved lighting, new signs, a new floor, and new paint, the results are wider aisles, increased access to products, and improved product arrangements. This remodeled store has served more than 12,000 members and shoppers in the past, and we will continue to serve all our downtown shoppers with a new look, the best products, and an enthusiastic welcome. |
